New York Jets Trade Up For Dustin Keller…
April 26, 2008
The New York Jets traded up to select former WR turned tight end Dustin Keller from Purdue. NFL Network’s Mike Mayock believes this pick will seriously help the Jets’ vertical passing game. Many fans thought this pick could’ve been QB Chad Henne or Brian Brohm, but with the situation with TE Chris Baker, Keller is a great selection.
Mayock also says the Jets will use Keller like the Colts use Dallas Clark and that he’s a “sexy” pick. This means fantasy owners have a serious rookie TE to pay attention to this year. After hearing Mayock, we like him.
