Top Fantasy Playoff QB Sleepers

November 19, 2008

Top Fantasy Playoff QB Sleepers As the fantasy playoffs approach, forecasting to Weeks 14, 15 and 16 is something that all fantasy owners who have a shot a winning their leagues need to be focusing on. Of course, at No-Offseason.com, we’ve done that quite a bit, and you may be surprised at what QBs we like most down the stretch. Read more

Impact: Marques Colston Out 4-6 Weeks

September 10, 2008

Impact: Marques Colston Out 4-6 Weeks We knew something was up. The Saints just don’t throw for 343 yards and three TDs, spreading the ball around the field, and only get their best receiver the ball three times for 26 yards. As it turns out, Marques Colston was injured, and has undergone thumb surgery that will keep him out four to six weeks. What should fantasy owners expect as a result of this? Read more

Drew Brees Is Fantasy’s Number 1 QB

August 27, 2008

Drew Brees Is Fantasys Number 1 QB For years, Indy’s Peyton Manning has held the distinction, and heading into 2008, nearly every fantasy owner on the planet would tell you that Tom Brady has taken the title of being fantasy football’s top quarterback, following his record breaking 50 TD season in 2007. However, I strongly believe that New Orleans’ Drew Brees could capture the crown in 2008. Read more

Shockey Gets What He Wants

July 22, 2008

Shockey Gets What He Wants It finally happened. Proof that if pro athletes kick and scream enough, they really do get what they want. In this case, four men named Jeremy Shockey, Kevin Boss, Steve Smith and Drew Brees are very happy with the New York Giants dealing Jeremy Shockey to the New Orleans Saints - and a man named Eric Johnson probably isn’t so thrilled. Mock Draft: Lynch Is A Round 2 Sleeper

May 9, 2008

marshawn-lynch.jpgJust the other day, I shared with No-Offseason readers the first round of a recent expert mock draft I participated in. As the draft moves along, I’ll continue to break the thing down, round-by-round, to help get owners thinking about draft strategies and values of specific players. In round two, some new names will strike you - including Buffalo’s breakout RB Marshawn Lynch. Jeremy Shockey Traded To Saints…

April 26, 2008

Word is that the Saints will trade for Jeremy Shockey sometime today, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. This will be a huge fantasy move for Shockey. If he can stay healthy, he’ll become one of the top five fantasy TEs in 2008 in Sean Payton’s offense.

We don’t think this hurts Marques Colston’s value at all - but it does help Drew Brees by giving him yet another quality option. This means that there’s less of a need to rush Robert Meachem on the field as well.
