Harry Ford

Harry Ford is a catcher from North Cobb High School in Georgia, was the 12th overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft for the Seattle Mariners. Ford is the Mariners top rated prospect and he’s listed as the 43rd overall prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline.com. He’s off to another nice start this season at High A. Through 19 games he’s hitting .282 with 3 HR and 14 RBI’s. He’s proving at 20 years old that he belongs and he’s likely going to move through the Mariner’s system very quickly.

Druw Jones

The son of Andruw Jones, former MLB star centerfielder is being hyped as a star of his own. Jones was the second overall pick in the 2022 MLB draft and is already rated as the #13 overall prospect in baseball per MLB Pipeline.com. He is described as a silky smooth outfielder, with great speed a good arm and potential for a power bat with the ability to find the outfield gaps. Jones has started his professional career at the Low A level in the Diamondbacks organization and is off to a shaky start through 10 games hitting just .175 with 0HR and 5 RBI’s. Still plenty of upside remains early in his career.

Hassell is in the Nats system and frankly has kind of faded a bit in the hobby. There is bound to be a relative dip in all of his cards. If you believe in Hassell like I do, go ahead and invest. He’s too naturally talented to struggle for a long time. He’s a guy that I would invest in now and reap the reward in later.
