$20 PLAY OF THE DAY: NFC EAST EDITION!

It's August, and the best buying window has nearly closed for NFL players. However, there are still some under the radar buys that you can grab for under $20.  Over the next couple weeks, we’ll be giving you one low-cost recommendation for each of the 32 NFL teams. Today we look at the NFC East!

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: RASHAAD PENNY, RB

There are a number of reasons why we love Rashaad Penny as a quick flip. First, the Eagles had the most rushing attempts of all NFL teams in 2022. While Jalen Hurts boosted those team numbers, the Eagles love to run the ball. They tend to get up early in games, and then run the clock out in the 2nd half. Second, the Eagles perfected a “jumbo package” play that was unstoppable on short yardage plays. That play is now deemed illegal, which will diminish Hurts short yardage TD runs (he had 13 in 2022), and place more of a load on the team’s running backs in the red zone. Third, the Eagles likely have another deep playoff run in them, giving flippers many opportunities for Penny. But here is the best part: RASHAAD PENNY IS THE BEST RB ON THE TEAM AND THE CARD COMMUNITY DOESN’T KNOW IT.  Penny was targeted in free agency by the Eagles. He was a day one signing. Philly likes this guy. Flippers can easily pick up rookie autos of Penny, and will be given ample opportunities to double, triple, and if things fall right, QUINTUPLE their investment.
