Breaking News: eBay announces International Shipping will soon manage excluded shipping locations
The News:
For all eBay sellers, starting June 6, eBay International Shipping settings will be updated to automatically manage excluded shipping locations for your listings. This change will help you reach even more buyers on a global scale, as your items will be available to locations based on their export eligibility. eBay's International Shipping Policy has also been updated to reflect this change.
You can disable this feature after it’s been implemented by switching the toggle button at the top of the Exclusions page under Shipping preferences.
Our Take:
This should be only a positive for all eBay sellers. This appears to mean that now, we can all safely and securely and perhaps most importantly - economically - transact with all buyers and sellers across the globe, not just limited to our current country.
An expanded buyer pool for our items will be good for everyone, as long as eBay continues to implement the buyer protection program across these international sales the way it does for domestic sales.
