It’s no secret that the New York Yankees have vastly underperformed this season, landing them in a position of dead last in the AL East. It appears the Yankees are now commiting to using the rest of the season as an experimental period to get prospects reps without risking them losing their rookie status. As of August 21st, the Yankees have called up Everson Pereira to the big league club, poising sports card investors that currently hold him with an ideal time to get his cards listed, as his great power comes with some concerns.
