Sabrina Ionescu became a legend as a student-athlete at the University of Oregon, where she dominated her competition, finishing with career averages of 18 points per game, over 7 rebounds per game, and just a hair under 8 assists per game. She also wrapped up college ball holding the title for most triple doubles (26), regardless of gender. She’s carried her strong showings into the WNBA, and on Saturday night Ionescu was pitted up against Stephen Curry in a shooting competition where she was bested after putting up an impressive score of 26, which ironically was the same score posted by Damian Lillard in the final round of the 3 point contest to win the event.
