The Call-Up came much later than expected, but still had a solid impact on his card prices. Now is the time to sell Mayo. Let’s dig in.

Sports Card Sell Alert! Paul Skenes, Rece Hinds & More!

I’ve learned that selling sports cards in general, let alone at the right time, is way harder than buying the right cards for the right player at the right time. If you’re nervous about auctioning off your cards, I’m here to help. Data on our weekly sell alert articles show cards with the most reasons to list right away in 7-10 day auctions. This time of year (mid-July), you’re typically going to see performance spikes from MLB stars with the most pricing increase, and that is true this week. I wrote earlier this week about how Paul Skenes is both a Sell and a Buy right now, depending on whether you’re holding raw or graded cards of his. Additionally, Rece Hinds is up HUGE and it’s time to take the profits. If you have any of the following cards, now is the time to list in 7 or 10 day auctions on eBay or try…

Midsummer Sports Card Sell Alert! Bronny, Pulisic, James Wood, Mikal Bridges & More!

Historically, across the sports card market, late June – early July hasn’t always been the best time to maximize profits, but we constantly make strategic plays based on selling markers, and monitor the market as those selling markers approach and pass. This sports card sell alert, which you can sign up for by texting “sports cards” to 1-833-992-5727, is a fun midsummer theme based on selling markers, and spans many sports, including basketball, baseball and soccer, highlighted by one or two names we’ve talked about for at year – Nationals’ Prospect James Wood and new Lakers guard, LeBron James, Jr. – better known as Bronny. NBA Finals 2024 Sell Alert: Luka, Kyrie, Tatum & Brown

For pro basketball cards, there typically is no better selling marker than an NBA Finals appearance, especially for star players and Finals MVP candidates. However, we’re always careful not to make blanket statements when it comes to advising you when to sell certain athletes, because it all depends not only on what particular cards you own, but how much money you’re into them for. And what can make things even more perplexing is that guys like Jayson Tatum and Luka Doncic have had NBA Finals baked into their pricing, and aren’t necessarily seeing the rise we would have expected – especially for Tatum as the Celtics are up 3-0 as of this writing and look to clinch the Larry O’Brien Trophy ASAP. That said, now is still the time to look to sell cards of Luka, Tatum and even Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, Dereck Lively and other supporting cast members for both the…

Paul Skenes Called Up! Sports Card Sell Alert

The number one overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, who consistently throws a 100 MPH fastball, has been called up by the Pittsburgh Pirates and will make his Major League Debut on Saturday, May 11. The 6’6″ right hander threw 45 strikeouts with a 0.99 ERA over 27 1/3 innings in Triple-A, making it impossible for the club not to call him up. As we typically say on the Sports Card Strategy Show, “sell at call up” or leading up to the call-up hype, but is that the case with Skenes? Want The Rest Of This Article? We Don’t Blame You!
