The Orioles called up Coby Mayo, formerly the 10th overall prospect on the MLB.com Top 100 and a player we’d mentioned several times on the Sports Card Strategy Show and in our Baseball Card Rankings over the last few years. For pro basketball cards, there typically is no better selling marker than an NBA Finals appearance, especially for star players and Finals MVP candidates. However, we’re always careful not to make blanket statements when it comes to advising you when to sell certain athletes, because it all depends not only on what particular cards you own, but how much money you’re into them for.
