James Cook was a 2022 2nd round pick of the Buffalo Bills. He finished his rookie campaign with just over 700 yards from scrimmage playing 2nd fiddle to Devin Singletary. He averaged a whopping 5.7 yards per carry, and showed the explosiveness to take it to house on any snap. Singletary accounted for twice as many carries as Cook. James Cook now steps into the alpha back role in Buffalo, after the Bills let Singletary walk in free agency. And while the Bills did sign the ageless veteran Latavius Murray, all signs are pointing towards Cook to be a major player in the Bills high octane offense.
