After loading up on base cards in 2021, I'm focusing on a new investment in 2022. It's 80% PC, but 20% long term investment.
Retired legends, Hall of Famers, top five players at their position, specifically their rookie autos. But these have to be on-card autos that are authenticated by PSA or Beckett, because for most of them, signing on cards was not a thing when their rookie cards came out.
Because these have varied pop counts, and many different versions, from card grades and auto grades, to auto grades only, and there are not many comps, I figured I'd walk you through my process and research while I buy an Earvin Magic Johnson vintage auto.
