1. LaMelo Ball: 2020 Optic Blue Velocity PSA 10
Kicking off our buys of the week is Charlotte Hornets Point Guard Lamelo Ball and his 2020 Optic Blue Velocity in PSA 10. Selling most recently for just $75, this is a desirable card that features affordability, a sweet-spot pop count of 758, as well as strong liquidity. There’s no doubt that Ball is a walking highlight reel with his flashy playmaking & likable persona, and this is a card that will go up in value of he is able to stay healthy for the first couple months of the season as the Charlotte Hornet’s young core of Ball, Miles Bridges, and Braxton Miller looks to turn the franchise around. For those that are able to pick this option up, our ideal flipping time period here is 1-3 months, and the NBA’s inaugural In-Season Tournament may be a point where strong performances from Ball drives serious card spikes to cash in on.
