Big trades, deaths, controversial figures in pop culture resurrected due to documentaries or movies, and performance spikes definitely all move the needle in the sports card world. In the last week, the NBA saw a massive blockbuster deal that saw Julius Randle and Karl-Anthony Towns swap teams, a much too early passing of NBA Legend Dikembe Mutombo, the Menendez Brothers made another appearance on Netflix (Mark Jackson 1990 Hoops Card), and of course, guys like Derrick Henry, Kenneth Walker III and D'Andre Swift had big games.
