With MLB Spring Training underway, baseball fans are getting a taste of the 2024 season via glimpses of top prospects in their team’s organizations. One player starting off with an absolute bang is New York Yankees Outfielder Spencer Jones. Standing 6-foot-6 and over 230 pounds, the Yankees had Jones listed as their #1 prospect at the end of 2023, and the 25th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft hasn’t disappointed thus far. In his first two Spring Training games this year, Jones has gone 5 for 5 and accumulated 8 total bases (courtesy of a 470-foot MOONSHOT).
