We answer these questions and more… Today we’re going to touch on questions from: Beau Josh Terry Eric Joshua Lawrence Connor Walt (Lee) Michael Drew Bryan Adam Bryan Andrew When a card is bowed/curved does this effect the grading if it is centered and otherwise in perfect condition? I’ve been buying multiples of the Caitlin Clark 2024 Select Concourse #72. Because of the chrome finish on that card, I notice a lot of dots or “dimpling” in the contour areas, along the curves in the design. They are on every card and seem like just a common part of the card print process. I’m just curious how much they impact a grade though, or if they’re so common a fixture the grader doesn’t really ding the card for them. When measuring the centering of a card and the landmarks…

For just this case I was looking for the 2023 Panini Prizm Silver Sam LaPorta #332 so I bought one and now that I have it and am looking at others I wonder if the seller knew what card they were actually selling. I’ve had several buyers contact me concerned they have not received their shipment . They all have been eBay standard shipping. What is the appropriate time to ask them to wait before issuing a refund? 4-6 weeks? And do I refund the shipping amount, as well? Also, what if the card arrives to…

We answered questions today from: Beau Eric Josh Jeremiah Matt Skeeter Beau Jared Michael Jaime Connor Jarrett Freddy Peter Noah John Josh Tim We answered these questions and more… I booked a room close to the national convention and am thinking about trying to pack my case with graded Prizm parallels of 2023 first round QB’s to sell and trade. How long should I wait before the prices begin to drop a bit? I often try to snipe auctions or make low offers on BIN OBO listings. Since I am a heavy flipper/reseller I am concerned about leaving low comp marks on ebay. Any suggestions on ways to avoid this? I suggest buying cards in bulk, is there any suggestions on what accounts to look for when doing so? I’ve really dug into the Sports Card Rankings. I’m curious…

Am I wasting my time trying to grade them again? I bought 2 packs (25 cards each) of the Caitlin Clark – 2024 Panini Instant WNBA #CCROY card. Are you still planning on grading these? Do you think now is a good time to buy some Michael Jordan cards as an investment? Thanks for the advice on the Cam Thomas Select FOTL RPA the other week. In this episode of The Premium Pod, we help premium members make money flipping sports cards. Today we’re going to touch on questions from: Chris Cyrus Tim Marc S. Leo Robert Chris Noah Derek Andrew Josue Scott Terry Joey Daniel Drew We answer these questions and more… How much fun is it grading die-cut cards? Why do they go for so much less, when it seems to be a much more difficult card to grade? How is the centering evaluated with cards that don’t have an obvious frame. With this card I suspect the name plate centring is used to determine left to right but how is the top/bottom calculated? My question pertains to new(ish) released cards that show up on the raw to grade rankings. For the purpose of this question I will use the Wemby Topps chrome play. When I first saw this card on the raw to grade rankings, it was selling…

He’s a #2 ranked prospect on baseballs’ too 100 prospects list. He plays a premium position (centerfield). I’ve purchase some cards of his and got one back from PSA as a 10. It’s a Bowman base Chrome 1st. I have it listed in my store for $45.99 Buy it now. Right now, after having it listed for a month, it has got 1 view. Is this just a situation where he’s still too far from his MLB debut date and it won’t be until maybe Spring of 2026 where the interest really increases? Hey guys, please have dialogue on Victor Wembanyama. He’s continuing to perform at a high level and proving that he’s worthy of the hype, however, I just saw a PSA…
How To Flip Sports Cards From Outside The United States: Premium Podcast: November 29, 2024
In this episode of The Premium Pod, we help premium members make money flipping sports cards. We answer these questions and more… I was checking out Topps now cards out of boredom and long story short ended up buying a grenade of the Paul Skenes Rookie of the years topps now cards. My thought process was Rookie card, in demand player and by the time I get them and get them graded it’ll be close to spring training (hypothetically) in your opinions was there a play here? If it’s an L I’ll chalk it up to learning no harm no foul. Second question. Up here in Canada we are kind of held hostage by the federally run postal system that is now on strike. Do you have any tips on what us Canadians can do while we wait for it to resolve? Currently anything bought on eBay is stuck once it gets to the border…
To Grade Or Not To Grade: Panini Sealed, Panini Instant; How To Sell Low Pop Cards – Premium Pod Premium Pod Friday, November 22, 2024
In this episode of The Premium Pod, we help premium members make money flipping sports cards. We answer these questions and more… Just got my Jalen Milroe /99 auto in. Do you recommend grading? Or straight to market? Where do you find the best pricing for card supplies? Top loaders, penny sleeves and mags. I received a 2023 select football XRC Xavier Worthy card. A couple questions…. 1. Im trying to decide whether to grade it and would like your opinion. The PSA 9 is pop 5 and there are none higher. Getting a PSA 10 I imagine would really increase the value since it will be such a low pop. The most recent sales are raw $91 11/12 PSA 9 $146 11/1 2. It seems the panini seal on the card puts a premium on the card by itself. In general, do you think it make sense from a value point of view to…
Do Grading Companies Communicate With One Another To Track The Movement Of Sports Cards? Premium Pod Friday, November 15, 2024
In this episode of The Premium Pod, we help premium members make money flipping sports cards. We answer these questions and more… Thanks for the great new features. I have a couple questions for you or the grader. Do they keep track of SP cards at their company? Does this information get shared with other graders? Is there a certain print run that they keep track of. For example if I crack an out of 10 or 50 or 199 card and submit do they know it’s been submitted before? Do the grading companies share notes, etc…? Appreciate the feedback What tools are used in the grading process of a sports card? Microscopes or other magnification tools? Black light? Computer scanning? WHAT TOOLS DO GRADERS USE? When ordering Topps Now cards, does ordering more cards increase your odds of getting a parallel or an auto? What should I make of the threatening email from PSA…
Why Aren’t Pitchers Good Investments? Does PSA Get Mad When You Don’t Package Your Cards Correctly? Premium Pod Friday, November 8, 2024
In this episode of The Premium Pod, we help premium members make money flipping sports cards. We answer these questions and more… When ordering Topps Now cards, does ordering more cards increase your odds of getting a parallel or an auto? I ask this because I heard that Topps sends out the parallels/autos to random addresses and it is not based on the number in the print run or how many you order. For example, if you order one Topps Now Football #11 of Jayden Daniels, you will have the same odds of getting an auto or parallel as someone who orders ten (assuming all ten cards are part of one order that is going to the same address). Is this correct and if not, can you clear this up? What would be the top five prospects in the MLB to buy in the offseason and when is a good time to buy them? Have…
