Not only have the rookie RHP’s cards skyrocketed in value over the last few weeks, proving our formula-based sports card rankings extremely helpful in making us some immense profits, but several of his cards still make a ton of sense to buy raw and grade at PSA – quickly of course – to get them back by early September and sell as he makes a run at NL Rookie of the Year, and possibly even the Cy Young award. Paul Skenes Called Up! Sports Card Sell Alert
The number one overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, who consistently throws a 100 MPH fastball, has been called up by the Pittsburgh Pirates and will make his Major League Debut on Saturday, May 11. The 6’6″ right hander threw 45 strikeouts with a 0.99 ERA over 27 1/3 innings in Triple-A, making it impossible for the club not to call him up.
