The Fanatics Trading Cards Company led by Josh Luber, just launched their first product at zerocool.com - a Blind Dutch Auction site for selling cards from culture, with various IP.

The first launch was using Gary Vee's VeeFriends IP, and it got a lot of attention - mixed reviews - from the sports card world - but nobody can deny the success of the release from a dollar standpoint with high resale value.
