I've been talking a lot about F1 cards recently on the Sports Card Strategy show and have been putting a lot of research into which F1 plays I should make myself, in addition to the research I've done for the Sports Card Investment Report.
I wanted to take some time out to put together a mini "F1 for Dummies" Video, given the release of Topps 2021 F1 and Topps Chrome 2021 recently, there are now many, many Formula 1 cards floating around on the secondary market.
As you look to invest, there are some facts you need to know about how to invest in F1 cards.
1. The difference in the checklists between Topps 2021 and Topps Chrome 2021 F1. Avoid paper. It's not investable.
2. What is 2020 Topps Chrome Sapphire F1? Is it a separate set, or is it a parallel to 2020 Topps Chrome F1? Is it investable?
3. Make sure "refractor" listings on eBay actually have "Refractor" printed on the back of the card.
