Think about players like Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem, Dr J, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, and Steph Curry to name a few. These players came with great hype and all significantly altered the game of basketball with their style of play. Enter the 2023 NBA draft a guy by the name of Victor Wembanyama. He is one of the tallest players to ever play in the NBA but shoots and handles the ball like a guard, and can dominate the paint with his size and defense. He is the greatest hyped player since 2003 when a guy named Lebron James entered the NBA. This is not only good for the NBA, but it is good for the card market too.
