The reason for this is that QB’s tend to draw the most attention in the hobby, therefor making them the easiest to flip for profit! However, there is money to be made in non-quarterbacks too! Everyone knows Aaron Judge; this isn’t an article that’s going to alert everyone about a new baseball superstar or enlighten the audience to an up and coming power hitter. Judge hit 62 home runs last year and you would think that there wouldn’t be any room to profit off of his cards, but there is. Judge has been on the IL since June 2nd after tearing a ligament in his toe making an incredible catch in Dodger Stadium. The Yankees have sorely missed his presence in the lineup and frankly baseball has missed him. He was already on the IL once this season but has managed to hit .290 with 19 HR and 40 RBI. There was a lot of hype surrounding what he might do in his 2nd year in the league on a very young and feisty team. Only, he got shut down in December 2022 to have leg surgery. Prior to surgery he was averaging just shy of 20 points per game and was looking like a young superstar that was starting to blossom! Since Cade’s injury his cards are down anywhere from 20% to 60%. He finished his rookie campaign with just over 700 yards from scrimmage playing 2nd fiddle to Devin Singletary. He averaged a whopping 5.7 yards per carry, and showed the explosiveness to take it to house on any snap. Singletary accounted for twice as many carries as Cook. James Cook now steps into the alpha back role in Buffalo, after the Bills let Singletary walk in free agency.
